Fitness Quiz

Part 4: Working Out

 

1. Do you participate in flexibility training, like stretching or yoga?

I never stretch.
I stretch only when a coach or gym teacher tells me to.
I try to stretch when I feel my muscles are sore or tired.
I usually stretch before and after I exercise.

 

2. Do you lift weights or do muscle-conditioning exercises like sit-ups, push-ups or leg lifts?

Never. I'm kind of a couch potato.
Only when I'm playing a sport.
Only when I'm trying to get in shape.
Usually 3-5 times per week.

 

3. Do you participate in aerobic activities like aerobic classes, running, or biking, or sports such as soccer, tennis or track?

Never. I'd rather watch sports than play them.
I just play a sport during the season and take the rest of the time off.
Only when I'm trying to lose weight or get in shape.
On a regular basis (usually 4-5 times per week or more).

 

4. Do you cross-train (participate in both aerobic, flexibility and muscle conditioning exercises)?

No, I don't even exercise.
I usually focus on 1 or 2 areas of fitness (aerobic, flexibility, or muscle conditioning).
I cross-train when I am getting into shape for sports.
I cross-train consistently, all year long.

 

5. How often do you try a new sport or fitness activity:

Never.
Once in a while, when a friend or coach asks me to.
Right away! I can't wait to try new fitness activities.
Often, because I like to get a total body work out.
